Book by D. H. de Castro Mz about the Jewish-Portuguese community's synagogue in Amsterdam. The book covers the activities of the synagogue from 1675-1815. In the beginning of the book, there is a reproduction of a drawing of the synagogue in the 18th century. Community songs and piyyutim in Hebrew at the end of the book.
Specifications: 66 [40] leaves, paper. 23 cm. Dutch and Hebrew. Colorful first title page.
Condition: Very fine except for a slight tear without lack on the title page. Original binding.
