Chamishah Chumshei Torah (The Five Books of Moses), a gift from the Vaad HaHatzala to Holocaust survivors. Printed by the Book Publishing Committee of the Vaad HaHatzala, Munich, 1947.
The Five Books of Moses and the Five Scrolls with Onkelos and Rashi's commentary. Preceding the title page is a letter of thanks to the American people and President H. Truman from the rabbis of the Vaad HaHatzala. The letter was printed on the backdrop of a painting of a US flag, and is in English with Hebrew on the following page. Includes a colorful title page in lithographic print.
