A 5-dollar bill from the Lubavitcher Rebbe - given on the day of the death of Rebbetzin Chaya Mushka - rare!
A 5 dollar bill, given by the Admor Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson of Lubavitch.
On the bill, the recipient registered: "22 Shevat 5751.
On this day (in 5748 - the year of production of the note in the same case as the year of the death) the righteous Rabbanit Chaya Mushka Schneerson, wife of the Rebbe, left.
The Rebbe noted this day when a new era began under the presidency of our generation, "who are already holding all the clarifications, and have already" polished the buttons "and so on. (At the end of the pamphlet, "Bech bless Israel" - from the conversations of Sif Yiftro and Shvat Shvat 5752 (Book of Conversations, part 2 p. 344).
A bill of this value is rare, since the Rebbe would usually hand out one dollar bills.
