Who wrote in his defense twice - a pamphlet for the defense of Rabbi Zvi Hirsch Friedman, the Admor of Liska,
Pi Shnayim, "two letters which shed a clear light to the quality of R. El'azar Loav, who managed to walk on my head with Kadesh in the city of Ungvar, published by Tzofnat Pa'aneach." Ungvar, 1885.
The pamphlet was printed by the Hasidim, against the background of a dispute between Hasidim in northern Hungary and Rabbi Elazar Lew, zt "l, who opposed the Chassidim, as a continuation of the leadership of his father, Rabbi Yirmiyahu Lau, zt" l.
The booklet contains a letter written by Rabbi Elazar Lew against the Admor Rabbi Tzvi Hirsh Friedman, Av Beit Din of Liska, and the reply of Rabbi Zvi Hirsh on the 2 nd of Bamidbar 1862. Rabbi Elazar accuses the Admor Rabbi Tzvi Hirsh of acts and words "against the Torah and its students , Against God and His Messiah. "
Rabbi Zvi Hirsch Friedman of Liska (5568-5634) was the founder of Liska Hasidism. Thousands of Hasidim streamed to him from all over Hungary and neighboring countries to receive advice and blessings. After the death of Rabbi Moshe Teitelbaum, author of Yismach Moshe, Liska Hasidism became the most important and famous Hassidism in Hungary.
