The commentary Meirat Einayim was written by Rabbi Yehoshua Falk [1555-1614] a disciple of the Rema and the Maharshal, a rosh yeshiva in Krakow and rabbi of many of the leaders of the generation. The commentary Siftei Cohen was written by Rabbi Shabtai Cohen [1622-1663] who was considered one of the leaders of the generation even at a young age; he served as rabbi of Vilna. The commentary Turei Zahav was written by Rabbi David HaLevi Segal [1586-1667], a rabbi in Poland, one of the foremost adjudicators. All the above commentaries form the cornerstones of Jewish law.
