14 printed and handwritten documents and paper items, which belonged to the Fränkel family, Holocaust survivors who stayed at the Hasenhecke DP Camp. Budapest, Hasenhecke (Kassel, Germany), Munich, Jaffa and other places, 1946-1947. Hungarian, English, German and Hebrew.
As gathered from the documents, the head of the family, Zvi Faludi Armine Frankel, served in the management of the DP camp and was active in the Hashomer Hatsair movement. In 1947, he and his wife Sidonie immigrated to Palestine.
Among the documents are the following:
* Membership card, printed and filled in by hand, issued for Frankel by the DEGOB (Magyarországi Zsidók Deportáltakat Gondozó Országos Bizottsága [National Committee for Dealing with Deportees in Hungary]), on May 27, 1946. Hungarian.
* Travel permit (Utazási Igazolvány), printed and filled in with typewritten details, issued for Frankel and his wife by the Hungarian Police Department of Political Legislation (Magyar Államrendőrség Vidéki Főkapitányság Politikai Rendészeti Osztálya), 1946. Hungarian.
* DP Identification Card issued for Frankel by UNRWA in Hasenhecke, on September 5, 1946. English.
* Two immunization records of the Hasenhacke Hospital Wolfganger, Kassel, issued for Sidonie and Judit Frankel in 1946. English.
* Handwritten authorization that Frankel served as chairman of the Hasenhacke camp committee. Stamped "Jewish Committee, Hasenheke, Kassel" and signed by two camp directors. Dated by hand, August 8, 1947. Hebrew.
* Mimeographed authorization, issued by the "Shomer Hatsair Party, German center", attests that Frankel served as chairman of the party in Hasenheke. Stamped and signed. Issued on August 11, 1947. Hebrew.
* Three handwritten authorizations pertaining to the history of the Frankel family during the war, [ca. 1947].

Size and condition vary. Overall fair-good condition. Stains. Creases and tears to margins. Large open tear in the center of one item.
