Two anti-Nazi caricatures. Palestine, [first half of 1940s].
1. Nazi Zoo. Published by S.I. Zviely and D. Toppel, Tel-Aviv.
A caricature depicting a hyena with Himmler's face, a pig with Goering's face, a rat with Goebbles' face and a dog with Ribbentrop's face. Instructions are printed on the bottom of the leaf: "fold the four animals according to the direction of the arrows and lines and find the fifth beast". When the leaf is folded according to the instructions, Hitler's portrait appears.

2. "Those who guard their mouths and their tongues guard themselves from trouble" (Hebrew). [Published by Palestine Government, Press Office?].
A caricature cautioning citizens against leaking information, portraying people whispering to each other, with information finally reaching the ears of a person wearing an innocent mask, behind which Hitler is hiding.
19.5X29 cm. Fair-good condition. Stains. Dampstains. Open tear. Ink-stamp of press office on the back of the leaf.
