About 60 letters and a number of telegrams and documents belonging to Mosche Mauricio Strikowsky, Beitar member who served as the commander and secretary of "Tel-Hai Fund" in Montevideo. Montevideo and Buenos Aires, 1943-1945 (some items from later years). Spanish and some English.
Most of the letters are typewritten on official stationery, and document Strikovsky's relations with various Beitar entities in South America and in Palestine: "Brit Trumpeldor" in Argentina (Brith Trumpeldor En La Argentina); "HaHistadrut HaZionit HaChadasha" in Argentina (Nueva Organizacion Sionista en la Argentina); "Tel Hai" fund (Keren Tel-Hai) in Montevideo; "Brit HaTzohar HaMeuchedet" in Urugua; "Brit HaNoar HaIvri al shem Yosef Trumpeldor"; and more.
Numerous letters are stamped with ink-stamps of the different organizations.
Among others, the letters concern the regulations of Beitar in Uruguay, Beitar casualties Shlomo Ben Yosef and David Raziel, European Jews during World War II, writing entries about Revisionist Zionism for the Hebrew Encyclopedia in Spanish, the death of President Franklin Roosevelt and his contribution to Zionism, and more.
Size and condition vary. Good-fair overall condition. Stains, creases and folding marks. Filing holes. A small number of items with slight tears and open tears (mainly slight, at margins).
