Die Augen des Ewigen Bruders, Eine Legende [The Eyes of the Eternal Brother, a Legend], by Stephan Zweig. Hellerau [Dresden]: Avalun, [1924].
A bibliophilic edition, illustrated with ten etchings by Fritz Heubner. Nine of the etchings are signed by Heubner (in pencil). Limited edition of 250 copies, this copy being 32/200 of the regular edition. Signed on the colophon by Stephan Zweig (in pen) and the illustrator (in pencil).
[90] pp + [9] plates of etchings (additional etching, within the text), 18 cm. Top edge gilt. Good-fair condition. Significant foxing. Slight damage to margins of some leaves. Slight wear and defects to binding.
