Shana Tova Card - "To Sister." Germany. Beginning of the 20th Century
Interesting 'Shana Tova' card with gilt inscription: A Happy New Year to Sister. Germany, c. 1900.
The card opens into a notepad with eight lines of text in the middle, long Shana Tova blessings to "my sister" in English and Yiddish on facing pages: Sister dear my heart sends greeting … "Made in Germany" is printed in the lower right corner.
Velvet fabric bird image pasted to the front of the card, with a colorful ribbon alongside. Rare 'Shana Tova.'
10.5x15 cm. Very fine condition.
