Photo album depicting the "Shomriyah" group's activities in Kibbutz Mishmar HaEmek, 1948.
There are 25 photographs in the album accompanying the group's activities in the 1940s. Most of the pictures show youths in social activities, at roll call, folk dancing, group singing, classes, sports activities, Chaim Weitzmann's visit to the place, etc.
The institution, established in 1931, was the first educational institution of the "HaShomer HaTzair" movement.
Brass plates in the form of the institution's central building are attached to the the album's binding.
Various sizes 12x18 cm. and 9x13 cm.
The album is in its original leather binding with a brick design.
Very fine condition.
