"Ha'olam" newspaper - the main newspaper of the World Zionist Organization.
Designed by Yosef Budko.
Volume 37, London, 29 Av 1929.
Condition; Very Good.
"The World" was a Hebrew weekly which was the official newspaper of the WZO since its first decade. The weekly "Ha'olam" was the Hebrew version of his elder brother, the German equivalent of Die Welt (in German: "Ha'olam").
The weekly was first published in 1907 and ceased to appear in 1950 (with several breaks over the years). The initiative contributed to the fact that the general secretary of the World Zionist Organization was Nahum Sokolow, whose profession and experience was an active Hebrew editor and journalist.

However, by the end of its second appearance (at the end of 1908), the system had been transferred to Vilna in Eastern Europe, home to most of its Hebrew readers.
The new editor was Alter Druyanov. In 1912 the system moved to the city of Odessa, where the magazine was published until the outbreak of World War I, when the newspaper ceased to appear. It was not until 1919 that his appearance was renewed, this time in London, the new seat of the Zionist Executive. The new editor was Avraham Idelson (until 1921). In 1923, "The World" was edited by Chaim Greenberg, Dr. Shmuel Perlman and Moshe Kleinman, who became the editor-in-chief of the weekly until his death in 1948. It was not until 1936 that the official Zionist weekly came to Eretz Israel, .
