Obverse: In the center, as a symbol of "liberated Israel" - a Hebrew worker carrying a scythe on his shoulder and a woman carrying a Grain beam. They both stand in the shadow of a palm tree with seven spoons and two clusters of fruit. On the rim around it is the title "Decade for the Freedom of Israel 1958" and the Latin sentence "Israel Liberata" (the liberated Israel).
Reverse: A transcript of the Roman coin minted by Vespasian in 70 CE. On the left, Vespasian is seen as a victor and on the right - Ivria, a mourning woman sitting under a palm tree, with ten spoons and two clusters of fruit, symbolizing Judah. On the rim of the coin appears the inscription "IVDAEA CAPTA" (the captive Judea). The letters "SC" are the acronym for "Senatus Consultum" (in the command of the Senate). On the scale - Shalshelet symbolizes the Shevi and the Hebrew inscription "Judah exiled" and this year it is an incorrect date to find out, "[the correct date is].
