Three sets of stereoscopic photographs produced by Underwood & Underwood Company, early 20th century. Each set contains a guide with descriptions of the photographed sites, by Jesse Lyman Hurlbut. English.
1. Traveling in the Holy Land through the Stereoscope. [1900].
* One hundred stereoscopic photographs portraying figures and sites in Palestine and the vicinity. Housed in the original case, in the shape of two book volumes, bearing a printed title: "Palestine through the Stereoscope". * A guide with descriptions the one hundred photographed sites, accompanied by seven maps (including a folding map of Palestine).
2. Jerusalem through the Stereoscope. [1900].
* Twenty seven stereoscopic photographs, portraying figures and sites in Jerusalem (numbered 9-35). No case. * A guide with descriptions of the photographed sites, accompanied by a map of Jerusalem.
3. Jerusalem through the Stereoscope. 1908.
* Twenty seven stereoscopic photographs, portraying figures and sites in Jerusalem (numbered 9-35). Housed in the original case, in the shape of two book volumes, bearing a printed title: "Jerusalem through the Stereoscope". * A guide with descriptions of the photographed sites, accompanied by a folding map of Jerusalem.
Enclosed is a stereoscope made of wood and aluminum, with engraved decorations, made by Underwood & Underwood, New-York.
