Four souvenir albums portraying the country's flowers, in olive wood bindings with a carved Jerusalem Cross.
1-3. Wild Flowers of the Holy Land. Published by Ferdinand Vester. Jerusalem, [late 19th / early 20th century]. English.
Three albums with the country's flowers, with titles noting where the flowers were picked. On the binding of all three albums appears the inscription "Jerusalem" and on bindings of two appears the inscription "Yerushalem" in Hebrew.
Two small albums: approx.13.5X9 cm. Large album: 19.5X13 cm. Fair-good condition. Tissue guards are damaged, stained and partly lacking. Leaves with flowers are stained. Some worming. Two missing spines. Loose bindings. Open break (3X1 cm) at corner of the large album.
4. Flowers from the Holy Land. Published by Fr. Vester & Co., American Colony Stores, Jerusalem, [late 19th / early 20th century]. English, German and French.
Album with the country's flowers. On each spread appear pressed flowers and plants on one page and a colorful postcard on the facing page.
18.5X12 cm. Fair-good condition. Stains and defects to leaves and to tissue guards. One tissue guard is missing. Several pressed flowers are missing pieces. Inscription on endpaper: "January 1918". Loose binding.
