Rabbi Yisrael Meir HaKohen (1838-1933), known as the ChafetzHayyim because of the book before us now, was one of the greatest poskim of the last generations, and is known by the entire Jewish People. Studied in Vilna, taught in Vasiliški, and established his yeshiva in Radin.
