Orot, Jerusalem, 1920. First edition.
Includes two texts: OrotMeOpal and OrotHaTechiya. By Rabbi Avraham Yitzhak HaKohen Kook, published by DegelYerushalayim, printed by Salomon. Among the subjects dealt with in the book: Messianism and the Redemption, the relation between the Jewish people and the other nations, the relation between Judaism and the other religions, and the relation between Judaism and the secularization of the nation. The book is considered a foundational work of thinking and belief among the National Religious (Dati Leumi). In the eyes of many Haredim, it is considered an erroneous and dangerous book. In response to the book, the booklet KolHaShofar was published with writings from sages of Jerusalem, with harsh words against the book and its author, which they called SeferKfirah (blasphemy). | Anterior binding disconnected. [2], 124 pages. Generally good condition.
