A PHOENICIAN ALABASTER PYXIS
5th-4th century BCE. Of cylindrical shape, with horizontal veins, a broad prominent rim and two small bumps as handles. The two lines of Punic inscription placed on the side of the vessel, are partly preserved and read: מסלת ..... / משקל ..... In very good condition. 25.0 cm in diameter, 24.5 cm high.
