Extremely sharp polemic regarding a suggestion made in Paris to make a Halachic marriage “Kidushin”, contingent on various clauses, hence creating a situation where the marriage could later be annulled without a bill of divorce “Get”. The suggestion was fiercely opposed by almost all of the great rabbinical leaders of the era, who saw this as a great threat to the sanctity of the Jewish people. With an important introduction by R. Chaim Ozer Grodensky and various responsa and correspondence regarding the matter by over 400 Rabbonim.
Kriness-Kovalsky press. 4, 28 pages. 24.5 cm. Excellent condition. Unbound.
