Two "Kvittel" Notes from the Admor of Erloi, Rabbi Yochanan Sofer
Two "kvittel" Notes in the handwriting of the Admor of Erloi, Rabbi Yochanan Sofer [Yochanan Tushene]. The kvittels were given for prayer and blessing for him and for his progeny to one of the great Admors of Sanz.
The Admor Rabbi Yochanan Sofer [1923-2016] Av Beit Din and lecturer in Erloi, Rosh Yeshiva of 'Ohel Shimon of Erloi,' remnant of the Sofer rabbinic dynasty [fifth generation], son of Rabbi Moshe Sofer, Av Beit Din of Erloi, author of Shu"t Yad Sofer son of the gaon, the author of Hitorerut Teshuva, son of the author of Ktav Sofer, survivor of the Hungarian Holocaust, immigrated to Israel and became close to the Admor Rabbi Aharon of Belz. Established a magnificent yeshiva and Torah institutions, authored Imrei Sofer on Shas.
