The photograph features the winners wearing their medals, clad in uniforms sporting the star of David. Yiddish description on the back of the photo.
The participants won medals at a local Olympics held in Varaklani. A year later, the tenth World Olympics was held in Los Angeles. This was the first Olympics in which the Latvian athlete Janis Dalins won the silver medal for the 50km-walk race.
Size: 14x9 cm. Fine condition.
