Sefer Torah. Ashkenazi scribe (Bet Yosef). [Eastern Europe, 1742].
Large format. Scroll on "Atzei Chaim". Given in a coat of late period.
On the "Atzei Chaim" there is a parchment with the caption: "The tree of life is for those who hold it, this the Torah book I wrote by the little Jacob son of Rabbi Ephraim, the author of the Talmud Torah. It was given in the Synagogue on "Shavuot" year 1742. HaShem will give me the right to write countless more books to the end". 
Sold as not Kosher.
The height of the parchment: 76 cm Maximum height with the "Atzei Chaim": about 115 cm.
Fair condition. Stains and wear. Ink faded. Breaking in the top of the left "Atzei Chaim".
