The collection includes the most significant books within the area of Jewish thought printed from the 17th to the mid-20th centuries; such as: foundational books, commentaries on the Talmud, philosophical works, Kabbalah and Hassidism, and dissertations on Torah ethics and thought. רקע: רבי אהרן היינמאן [1863-1937] למד בישיבות נובהרדוק?, וולאוזין ועוד. בשנת תרמ"ד [1884] נסמך להוראה מגדול ליטא. עסק בתורה ובהוראה בלונדון עד שעלה לארץ. מחבר ספרי "בית ועד לחכמים" [תרס"א], "תולדות תנאים ואמוראים" [תר"ע-תרע"א], "התורה הכתובה והמסורה" [תרצ"ז-ת"ש] ועוד. ספרו "בית ועד לחכמים" יצא במהדורה מורחבת בהוצאת "דביר" בשם "אוצר דברי חכמים ופתגמיהם".
