Ma'arechet Ha'Elokut - Mantova 1558 - Dozens of Kabbalistic Glosses in Yemenite Script from the Time of Printing

Ma'arechet Ha'Elobut by Rabbi Peretz, one of the greatest scholars of Spain in the 14th century, the teacher and rabbi of the Ran and the Rivash.
Before us is a revised edition of the composition and its commentaries. Four months after the publishing of the first edition of the book, which was printed in Ferrara, a second edition, the one before us, was printed in Mantova. This second edition omitted many passages of "the commentary whose author is unknown" that was printed in the first edition, the reason being that they included "the opinions of Aristotle and his students".
On the other hand, to this edition, the proofreader Rabbi Emanuel Benvento added commentaries by other authors.
On the margins of the leaves, very early Kabbalistic glosses in Yemenite script, most likely for the time of printing - the 16th century. Some of the glosses are important corrections, while others are long Kabbalistic explanations!
Condition: Fair. Some of the leaves are in reasonable condition and some in very bad condition due to moth damage. The title page is missing as well as the [4] first leaves and the [1] last leaf. The spine is detached together with the front binding. Detached leaves.
