Four books by the Chafetz Chaim with the inscription "Mugeh" (Proofread) at their beginning.
1. Sefer Mishnah Berurah, third section, Hilchot Shabbat. Warsaw, 1904. Ink inscription of "proofread".
2. Sefer Likutei Halachot, on the tractates of Zevachim, Menachot, Tamid etc. Piotrkow, circa 1910. Pencil inscription of "proofread".
3. Sefer Nidchei Yisrael, with the Yiddish translation. No title page. ink inscription of "proofread" on the reverse side of the binding.
4. Sefer Nidchei Yisrael, with the Yiddish translation of chapter 41 [Hilchot Nashim] only. Warsaw 1893. Pencil inscription of "proofread" on the Forsazt leaf.
It is well-known that the Chafetz Chaim himself used to proofread all the copies he had printed of his books and write at the beginning of the book "proofread".
Condition: Fair-Good. Some of the books are with moth signs. Missing leaves and wear in one of the copies of the book Nidchei Yisrael.
