Pacahd Yitzchak - Rabbi Yitzchak Chayut - Lublin, 1573 - Single Edition in the Author's Lifetime - Extremely Rare!
The book contains commentary on the Aggadot of the Sages. At the end of the preface there is a vowelized poem by the author.
An extremely rare book!
Since its first edition in 1573, it was never reprinted.
The author: Rabbi Yitzchak Chayut (1538-1617) was one of the first Achronim who served, among others, as the rabbi of Prague and as head of yeshiva. Later, he served as head of yeshiva in Rostitz. He was the brother-in-law of the Maharal of Prague. Among his books: Pachad Yitzchak, Si'ach Yitzchak and Pnei Yitzchak.
He had three well-known sons: Rabbi Eliezer and Rabbi Menachem Menish Chayut, the father of the second Rabbi Yitzchak Chayut, author of "Zera Yitzchak". His third son was Rabbi Avraham, whose tombstone was miraculously discovered only in recent years and on it is the inscription: "The son of that Tzaddik the great genius, Kabblist and Divine Hassid the Rabbi of all exiles Rabbi Yitzchak Chayut".
