Responsa Panim Meirot - Amsterdam, 1715, First Edition / second part is Zolzbach 1733 Copy of the Author of the "Kaf HaChaim"

Panim Meirot, part one - responsa, and novalle on tractate Zevachim by Rabbi Meir  Eisenstadt, Amsterdam 1715, first edition. Printing press of Solomon son of Joseph Proops. And the second part is Zolzbach 1733 first edition. On the title page In both volumes is the handwritten signature of Rabbi Yaakov Sofer, author of the "Kaf HaChaim". 

On the title page is an ownership inscription in the handwriting of the author of the "Kaf HaChaim" Rabbi Yaakov Chaim Sofer. And other inscriptions in Sephardi handwriting.

Rabbi Yaakov Chaim Sofer [1867-1939]: one of the great Rabbis and Kabbalists of Baghdad, author of the series of books "Kaf HaChaim". Ordained by the "Ben Ish Chai" and even studied Kabbalah from him. Immigrated to Israel in 1904 with his fellow Rabbis Yechezkel Ezra Rachamim and Rabbi Tzedaka Chutzin. In Israel, he studied Kabbalah from the Sad"eh - Rabbi Chaim Shaul HaCohen Dweck in the Rechovot HaNahar yeshiva. He worked on the writing and printing of his books "Kaf HaChaim" on the Shulchan Aruch for close to forty years.
