Important poster calling for a national gathering for the sake of family purity on the 27th of Av 5702 (1942) ascribing the murder of millions in Occupied Europe to the breach in family purity, Jerusalem - dozens of signatures of prominent rabbis, including the Chazon Ish.

"Our dear brothers! These days are a depression for our people. Our situation in the world today is terrifying and human vocabulary has no expression that can express the intensity of the tragedy and magnitude of our pain from the tyranny and savagery in which thousands of thousands of our brothers are being murdered, decapitated, and hackneyed like dust in the streets and their blood as dirt. With clear intent to wipe us off the face of the earth ... damaged family life with forbidden [relationships] are founding camps of bullies and insolents, who kick with pride and spit with a full mouth at everything that is dear and holy to us ... the last hour has rung in which were are called upon to recover and act to avert the evil ..." The rabbis are calling for a large assembly which will be in Jerusalem to arouse the public regarding the severity of forbidden relationships and its accessories, with the participation of rabbis.

43 signatures of prominent rabbis and Admors in the margins of the poster, the signature of the Chazon Ish among them [with a comment: he joined the assembly with an oral blessing by way of Rabbi Y. Halperin], Rabbi Isser Zalman Meltzer, Rabbi Yechezkel Sarna, Rabbi Tzvi Pesach Frank, the Admor of Gur Rabbi Avraham Mordechai Alter, with additional Admors and rabbis.
