Pewter and Brass case for a minature megillat Esther.

A cylindrical case. At the center is an engraving of the words “Megillat Esther,” and a decorated plaque for engraving the name of the owners. The case’s cover and the bottom are decorated with nice embossings of flowers and plants. At the bottom of the case is a handle decorated in gold, connected to a wonderful crown on top of the megillah, which rotates together with it. Cases made of pewter are rare and not often found. Size of the housing: length 8cm, diameter 4.5cm. Including the handle and crown: 17cm. Generally good condition.
