Lot of 2 calendars handwritten by Jews secretly during the First World War. Europe, 1916-20. Extremely rare.

Written on journal pages, lines folded lengthwise into years and sewn with string. The first was used for 1917-1918, and each day has listed the old date (1917) and the new (1918). In this calendar are noted also the dates of the Jewish holidays, as well as Rosh Chodesh. The second is from 1920 and notes just Rosh Chodesh, without holidays. 8x21cm. Generally good condition.
