Very ancient parchments, estimated at 300 years at least – possibly centuries earlier than that. [Sephardic writing?].
Therein are laid out the books of Bereshit and Shmot (Genesis and Exodus) in full, as well as part of VaYikra (Leviticus).
Later corrections (a rarity) in the handwriting of an ancient scribe.
The parchments have not been studied, but there is no doubt that this is an unusual item, justifying an in-depth examination expected to yield important findings.
The sheet is 51 cm tall.
Condition: One story is cut out of the sheets but is present. Tears and stains characteristic of the age of the item.
