Rabbi Baruch Dov (Ber) Leibowitz (1864-1940) was a leading disciple of Rabbi Chaim of Brisk at the Volozhin Yeshiva. He was the head of the "Knesset Beit Yitzchak" Yeshiva of Slabodka, which later moved to Vilnius and Komnitz. Author of 'Birkat Shmuel' on the Sugiyot of the Talmud.
