The content of the letter: Rabbi Elyashiv happily welcomes the Rebbe's decision to immigrate to Israel. Rabbi Elyashiv presents his halachic opinion on the matter of whether the Rebbe should travel by plane or by ship due to his health and due to the possibility of Chilul Shabbat which might be involved.
Condition: Good. A tear on the upper part of the letter with slight damage to text.
