Long, Important Moral (!)Letter Handwritten and Signed by the Mashgiach Rabbi Yerucham Leibowitz of Mir to his Son-in-Law Rabbi Yitzchak Toretz – 1934 – Extremely Rare
The letter is addressed to his son-in-law and assistant rabbi Yitzchal Torezt and it contains moral guidance on how to behave during a controversy. The letter swas written on the background of some controversy that Rabbi Torezt was involved with.
A long letter, 17 handwritten lines! Extremely rare! Has never been seen in auctions!
Rabbi Yerucham Ha'Levi Leibowitz (1875-1936) was a student of the "Beit Talmud" of Kelm and the teacher and rabbi of Rabbi Yechezkel Lowenstein. He served as the Mashgiach of the Radin Yeshiva and the Mir yeshiva, which he navigated when the yeshiva was forced to move to Poltava during World War I.
Condition: Good. Slight tears.
