Moyse, considéré comme législateur et comme moraliste by Claude Emmanuel Joseph Pierre. 599 leaves, 20 cm. French composition about Moses. The author (1755-1840) was a French writer and politician, who was active during the years of the French Revolution. Reconstructed leather binding with the original spine and gold embossing. Age stains. Wide margins. Very fine condition other than a tear on page 431-2 with no loss of text.
