The Booklet ‘Selichot’ for 20 Sivan. Budapest, 1946
A booklet of Selichot for 20 Sivan, which was instituted in memory of the massacres of 1648 and re-established for the Holocaust of Hungarian Jewry, “On the murder of our Jewish brethren, our countrymen, from 1941 onward… and we chose the date 20 Sivan as most of the murders took place in this month”. At the beginning of the booklet are the customs which the Hungarian community accepted upon themselves on this day. Partially detached paper binding. A stain on the back binding. [24] pages. 20 cm.
