A Proclamation from the Holocaust, by the Jews of Dolyna to Their Brothers in the USA about Their Duty to Assist – Extremely Rare
The proclamation was printed in Vienna by Rabbi Chaim Ber Ginzburg Av Beit Din of Dolhinov (in Eastern Galicia) in light of the difficult economic situation of the Jews of the town during the Soviet occupation (1939-1941). The proclamation mourns the bitter fate of the Jews of the town and pleads with the natives of the town who live in the USA to assist and donate money to the Jews of the town. Despite the many obstacles it had encountered, the proclamation succeeded in making its way to its destination in the USA.
22x30 cm.
