The book contains novellae on the Parshiyot of the Torah and the holidays. On pp. 235-239, Torah compilations by the Maggid of Koznitz.
Since its printing, the book has been considered a book of Segulah, which protects the house of its owner, as is mentioned by the approbations at the beginning and end of the book, which were reprinted in this edition as in the first edition.
Hundreds of names appear in the lists of prenumeranten, among them most prominent rabbis and Rebbes.

On the title page, a dedication (from 1820) handwritten by Rabbi Baruch Weil, a gift to the Chassid groom Rabbi Yehoshua Menachem Ehrenberg, the future Av Beit Din of Tel Aviv and author of 'Devar Yehoshua'. A similar dedication (cut off) on leaf 25.
