The Rebbe Rabbi Zvi Hirsch Eichenstein of Zidichov (1763-1831), the founder of the Zidichov Hassidic dynasty, the son of the Rebbe Rabbi Yitzchak Isaac of Zidichov and the disciple of Rabbi Baruch of Mezhbizh and the Seer of Lublin.
He was a Torah and kabbala genius who was admired by the most prominent Rebbes of his generation. His books are basic Hassidic books: "Ateret Zvi", "Sur Me'Rah Ve'Aseh Yov", "Pri Kodesh Hilulim" and more.

A copy missing its last five leaves.
On the title page of the book before us there is a mistake in the date of printing. The years as written as "Becha Yeranenu Tzaddikim" which equals 5590 (1830). However, on the reverse side of the title page, the author is referred to (in the preface of the publisher Rabbi Yosef Katz Rappaport) four times with the addition of the phrase "N.E" [Nucho Eden – May he rest in peace]. The author died on the 11th of Tamuz 5591 (1831). The publisher ends his preface with the phrase "Ratzon Ve'Ketz Ha'Geulah" [5592].
