Yafah Sha'ah – Salonika 1813 – First Edition – Signature of the Kabbalist Rabbi Yichye Tzarum with his handwritten Glosses and Completions
Yaffa Sha;ah, commentary on the book "Etz Ha'Chaim", on the book "Sha'ar Ha'Kavanot" and on the book "Mavo Ha'She'arim", all by Rabbi Chaim Vital. By the kabbalist Rabbi Shlomo ben Rabbi Yehuda Ha'Cohen of Salonika.
On the title page of the book, a handwritten inscription by the kabbalist Rabbi Yichye Tzarum with his curly Yemen signature.
Inside the book, many short and long glosses referring to the text of the book. Several leaves are lacking with his handwritten completions.
Most of the author's books are rare; that is why there are many mistakes in descriptions of his books in bibliographic literature. The book before us is his first kabbalist book.
234 leaves. 17 cm.
Condition: Good. A stain and wear to part of the title page. Worn, ancient leather binding, detached. Detached leaves. Several leaves are missing and have been completed in the nice orderly script of Rabbi Yichye Tzarum.
