Volume of Maimonides' Mishneh Torah – Handwritten Comments and Long Torah Novellae by Rabbi Nissan Ovadya Rosensohn Dayan and Moreh Tzedek of Kovno
The book "Mishneh Torah" by Maimonides, Mada, Ahava and Zemanim. Warsaw edition1881. On the leaf before the title page, handwritten novellae on Maimonides, dense writing on two pages and on half a page at the end of the book. In addition, on the margins of the leaves of the book, novellae and glosses on Maimonides in the same handwriting. Especially long scholarly novellae. The nice script is written with quill pen and black ink. The handwriting is of Rabbi Nissan Ovadya Rozenson, Dayan and Morh Tzeddek in Kovno. The script is identical to his known script elsewhere. Stamp of his son on the book: Yisrael shlomo ben Nissan Ovadya Rozenson Moreh Tzeddek Ve'Dayan Tzeddek Kovno".
An additional signature and stamp of "Mordechai Ya'akov Warkol" formerly the rabbi of Kovno. Miraculously survived the Holocaust.
