Fascinating Letter by the Lubavitcher Rebbe with his Handwritten Signature – Guidance for a Groom to do as the His Wife Wishes Regarding Matters of Modesty – Extremely Rare!
In the letter before us from the 13th of Tamuz 1954, several years after he became Rebbe, the Lubavitcher Rebbe guides a young groom who just became engaged how to choose a place of residence after the wedding. The Rebbe recommends the groom to do as his future wife wants and accept her demands regarding modesty, even if it involves additional expenses. The Rebbe promises him that if he does so and persists in the study of Hassidism, God will help him cover these expenses.
With the Rebbe's handwritten signature.
18.5x27 cm.
