Letter by the Rebbe Rayatz – with a Long Handwritten Addition[!]by him – Chicago 1930 – Interesting Content: His Warm Relationship with and Personal Treatment of Each and Every Student – Extremely Rare
An interesting letter by the Rebbe Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak Schneersohn of Lubavitch. Chicago 1930.
The letter is addressed to the managers of the Torat Emet Yeshiva of Jerusalem.
In the first part of the letter, the Rebbe writes about sending "two checks on the amount of $500 for the maintenance of the yeshiva".
In the second part of the letter, the Rebbe asks to send his personal regards to each and every one of the yeshiva students. He continues to bless each and every one of them.
At the end of the letter, an addition of nine words handwritten by the Rebbe: "I am their friend wishing them health and success Yosef Yitzchak". Written on the Rebbe's official stationery.
Letters by the Rebbe Rayatz from the time he visited Chicago are extremely rare since he stayed there for only a month!
21x27.5 cm.
Condition: Very Good. Folding marks. Thick, high-quality paper.
