A Kvitle for Prayer Handwritten by the Chazon Ish – on a Letter Handwritten and Signed by the Rebbe of Tseshenov Rabbi Shalom Yechezkel Sheraga Halberstam
A letter handwritten and signed by the Rebbe rabbi Shalom Yechezkel Sheraga Halberstam of Tseshenov sent to the Chazon Ish.
In the letter, the Rebbe asks the Chazon Ish to express his halachic opinion on a matter of trespassing. At the end of the letter, a list of names for prayer and blessing by the Chazon Ish.
The letter is written on the Rebbe's official stationery.
Rabbi Shalom Yechezkel Sheraga Rubin-Halberstam (1913-1986), the grandson of the Rebbe, the "Divrei Chaim" of Sanz. Since he was young, he corresponded with the most prominent rabbis of Europe on Halachic matters.
On the margins of the leaf, a name for prayer handwritten by the Chazon Ish.
