Letter of greeting by Gaon Av Beit Din of Ha'Edah Ha'Charedit Rabbi Yitzchak Ya'akov Weiss to Rabbi Eliyahu Sternbuch Rosh Av Beit Din of Antwerp.

Interesting letter handwritten by Rabbi Pinchas Epstein Rosh Av Beit Din of Ha'Edah Ha'Charedit to his friend Rabbi Yisrael Porat, on eof the disciples of Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak Ha'Cohen Kook, about "Medinah shel Gehenom" (a country from hell) and Golda Meir.
The letter was handwritten and signed in 1955 by Rabbi Pinchas Epstein Rosh Av Beit Din of Ha'Edah Ha'Charedit. The addressee is Rabbi Yisrael Porat (1886-1974) who was one of the most important disciples of Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak Ha'Cohen Kook. For more than fifty years he served as a rabbi in Cleveland (USA). Authored the book "Mavoh Ha'Talmud". In the letter, Rabbi Epstein painfully mourns for the state of religion in the Land of Israel and especially the state of the Sabbath.
Rabbi Pinchas Epstein served as a Dayan of the Beit Din of Ha'Edah Ha'Charedit. In 1948, he became Rosh Av Beit Din. He was known as a strict opponent of Zionism and its leaders and even played an active part in the demonstrations against participation in the elections for the Knesset. Nevertheless, he was a close friend of Rabbi Yisrael Porat.

An additional letter by Rabbi Pinchas Epstein Epstein Rosh Av Beit Din of Ha'Edah Ha'Charedit to Rabbi Yisrael Porat.
In the letter, Rabbi Epstein expresses his appreciation of Rabbi Porat and praises him. Then he asks for his help in raising funds for the wedding of his second grandson.
