A pair of silver Torah finials. Marked silver (Tunisian stamps 1850-1905), cast, cut, engraved and perforated.
Massive, impressive finials. Standing on a round stem with half a ball on its upper part.
On the handles, an engraved dedication: "For the eternal rest of the woman Menacha of the Pappi family".
The body of the finials is shaped like a two-story tower with six sides decorated with a stylish pattern of plants which repeat itself on every side of the upper story. On the lower story, the stone tablets, the priestly blessing of the Cohanim and additional decorations.
Each side is separated by a welded decoration with a crescent on its upper part. Six bells on chains hang on the sides (some of them are missing).
Height: 41 cm.
Weight of silver: 1618g.
Condition: Good. Several flaws and omissions (especially in the chains, bells and crescents.
