Rare numbered edition.
Segulah for Erev Pesach by R. Shimshon of Ostropol, with the laws of the Seder and Bedikas Chometz according to the custom of the Arizal. This ancient and well known segulah is traditionally studied on Erev Pesach as a source of protection and blessing.
R. Shimshon of Ostropol (died 1648), was one of the greatest rabbinical leaders and Kabbalists of his era, who was brutally murdered together with his community by the Cossacks during the Khmelnitsky Uprising.
Bibliographic edition printed in 500 copies, 20 are printed on Vellum. This is Copy no. 19. The leaf after the title page has an ancient illustration from the Prague Haggadah and the last page has an illustration of Eliyahu Ha’Navi bringing the tidings of the Redemption.
