Collection of printed photographs (early copies) depicting well-known rabbis.
Some of the photographs were printed in Breslau, by lithographic printing. S. Schottlaender. The year of printing is unnoted [according to the years during which the printing press was active, they were most likely printed between 1888 and 1894). Four photographs: Rabbi Yitzchak Abohav author of 'Menorat Ha'ma'aor', Rabbi Avraham of Trisk, the Maharsha and the Chatam Sofer.
The other photographs were printed during the 1920's-1960's and they show: the Noda Bi'Yehuda, Rabbi Zvi Hirsch Chayut, Rabbi Simcha Bonim of Pshische, Rabbi Yitzchak Shmelkis author of 'Beit Yitzchak (two slightly different copies), Rabbi Shlomo of Sasiv (two slightly different copies), the Rebbe of Belz Rabbi Yisrael Dov Rokeach (two copies), the Rebbe Rabbi Ya'akov Moshe of Komarno (died in 1929) – a rare photograph, the 'Chacham Zvi'. A larger photograph: "The Maharam Shapira Av Beit Din of Lublin. The 7th of Adar 1887-the 7th of Cheshvan 1934. The 28th of Sivan the festival of the Torah – Zichron meir near Bnei Berak". Tears and stains especially on the white margins of the leaf.
Condition: Good. Time stains on some of the photographs.
