Alilot Ha'Dam (The Blood Libels) – A Rare Booklet about the Beilis Trial – by Rabbi Yehuda Leib Landau (Tzofar Ha'Na'amati") – Johannesburg 1914 – Extremely Rare!
A special booklet that was printed following the trial of Menachem Mendel Beilis, who was accused of the murder of a gentile boy in order to prepare Matzah for Passover with his blood. The blood libel stirred up the emotions of the Jewish world for many years and Beilis' figure became a symbol. Rabbis and activists tried to save the accused and their efforts indeed bore fruit.

By "Tzofar Ha'Na'amati". Yiddish. The year is not noted. Some bibliographers date it to 1910 while others to 1914.
The author is Rabbi Yehuda leib Landau, Av Beit Din of Johannesburg (1866-1942).
An interesting and extremely rare booklet. Is not listed by the Bibliography of the Hebrew Book.
