Shemen Rokeach Responsa, by Rabbi Elazar Löw. Novy Dvor, 1788. This is the first book by the author, among many, that was printed.
First section. First edition. Approbations by the most prominent rabbis at the beginning of the book. At the end of the book, Aggadic Derushim.
68 leaves.
Condition: Excellent. The book is impressively preserved. New binding.
Sefer Torah Chessed, 39 rules of the Shas, by Rabbi Elazar Löw. Vienna, 1800. First/single edition.
44, 43-46 leaves.
Condition: Good. Moth signs, most of them minor. New binding. Interesting signatures, among them: "David Ha'Levi", "Moshe Ben Chaim" and "Chaim Ben Moshe".
Both books were printed during the author's lifetime.
Rabbi Elazar Löw (1758-1837) was one of the most prominent rabbis of Hungary.
